Heroes of St. Pete is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honoring the police officers and firefighters of St. Petersburg who made the ultimate sacrifice. We maintain the memorial that carries their names, tell the stories behind them, and make sure their families know this community still stands with them.
Everything we do — the memorial, the Hall of Heroes, the annual run, and the Family Aid Fund — exists to keep a promise: remember their service, and support the people they loved.

When a St. Petersburg police or fire family is quietly struggling, the Family Aid Fund lets our board step in with support — privately, and with dignity.
This isn't a public campaign or an application for aid. It works the other way around: if you know a first responder's family facing a hardship the department may not be aware of, you can quietly let us know. The board looks into it, verifies the need, and decides how we can help — so the people who gave the most are never left to face hard times alone.
